We love this vintage, midcentury Butler Bulldogs logo for his confidence and composure. The bulldog has been the official mascot of Butler University since 1919, when a fraternity's pet bulldog, Shimmy, wandered into the offices of the Butler Collegian newspaper. He inspired a newspaper cartoon of Shimmy biting a rival; the cartoon was so popular, the "Bulldogs" nickname and mascot stuck. Brought to you in partnership with College Vault.
